Our district Leader's Conference is an annual event conducted in the spring of each year to provide program updates, leader training, and event information for the coming year. This event provides outpost leaders with an opportunity to connect with other leaders from across the district, share ideas, find valuable resources, and be encouraged and strengthened in their role as a Royal Rangers leader. Come join us for our next Leader's Conference!
March 31 & April 1, 2023 - Oak Grove AG in Springfield
This year's Leader Conference will provide you with an experience that is fun, informative, and beneficial. The following features will be included in hopes of making this event a valuable experience for you.
Friday, March 31st
Beginning at 9AM we will offer the full Ranger Foundations training course. This course represents the most essential step in an outpost leader's training process. Topics include weekly meetings, advancements & awards, uniforms, annual program planning, and more. Pre-registration is required. Refer to the registration information below for details. Class ends by 5PM.
Friday Night Food, Fun, and Fellowship
New this year! Come join us Friday night at 6:30 PM as we gather with fellow leaders from all across our district for a time of snacks, games, and fun for the whole family. Bring snacks or finger foods to share. Ice cream and toppings will be provided.
Immediately following our fellowship time (about 8PM) we'll be having our annual missions auction to raise funds for BGMC or other missions projects. Bring your unneeded camping gear, books, patches, tools, craft items, or anything else you'd like to donate for the auction and watch someone go home blessed with your old stuff as a new treasure - and all for missions!
Saturday, April 1st
We'll begin the day early at 8AM with a brief inspiring message and time of prayer led by our District Men's Ministries Director, Greg Perkins. Come join us as we celebrate all that God is doing and grow our faith to see event greater things!
Conference General Session
The conference general session will begin immediately following morning assembly and will provide content every Outpost Leader will want to hear. We'll be covering the latest program updates from the national office as well as plans for our various district events taking place this year such as Pow-Wow, Frontier Adventure, Territorial Rendezvous, junior training camps, action & adventure camps, and new divisional events.
