Service Awards

A variety of service awards are available to outpost leaders, junior leaders, pastors, and others in recognition of their service in or to Royal Rangers.  These awards may be earned each year by submitting an award application to the district office along with the required fee.  To apply for an award, download the appropriate application from the link below, enter the required information, and mail it to the district Royal Rangers office by March 1st.

Award Fees

Award fees are based on the type of insignia you would like to receive for this award.  Please indicate on the application the type of insignia you would like to receive and enclose the appropriate award fee as indicated below.

• Medal ($20.00):  This is the larger drape medal worn on the left pocket of the uniform. 

• Ribbon ($5.00):  Ribbons are worn above the left pocket of the uniform in rows of three.

• Numeral ($5.00):  Numerals are worn on the ribbon portion of the drape medal to represent the number of times an award has been earned, if the same award has been earned more than once.

Recognition

All service awards will be presented and recognized at the annual district Leaders Conference.  If you are unable to attend the conference, your award will be mailed to you.

Service Awards

Applications for each of the following awards can be found on the national Royal Rangers web site.

District Leadership Award:  Available to all staff serving in a district leadership role.  See application for qualifications and details.

• District Executive Leadership Award:  Available to all staff serving in a district executive leadership role.  See application for qualifications and details.

• Outpost Leadership Award:  Available to all outpost Group Leaders.  See application for qualifications and details.

• Outpost Coordinators Award:  Available to all Outpost Coordinators.  See application for qualifications and details.

• Outpost Service Award:  Available to all outpost leaders other than Outpost Coordinators and Group Leaders.  See application for qualifications and details.

• Junior Leaders Service Award:  Available to all outpost junior leaders who meet the specified requirements.  See application for qualifications and details.

• Pastors Award:  Available to all pastors who meet the specified requirements.  See application for qualifications and details.

• Special Service Award:  Presented in recognition for special service to Royal Rangers.  See application for qualifications and details.
